About
Mindy (she/her) discovered a love of costuming through cosplay. She began cosplaying in 2012 and quickly developed a passion for making intricate builds, going on to win more than a dozen major awards at costume contests around the United States.
In 2021, Mindy enrolled in the Masters program in Theatre at Texas Woman’s University. Since then, she has worked extensively on productions staged at Collin College, where she is currently employed as a Scholarly Communications Librarian. After completing her MA in 2024, Mindy participated in Stage West Theaterās Design Apprenticeship Program, where she served as the costume designer for the Adult Ensemble production of Museum and assisted with the programās other education productions.
In addition to a MA in Theater, Mindy holds a MS in Library Science from the University of North Texas and a BA in Literature from Texas Christian University. Her goal is to teach costuming at the collegiate level upon completion of a MFA.
