I guess I should announce what I’m wearing to SciFi Expo since it’s on Saturday. As of right now, I’m planning to wear my two “newest” costumes: the Marvel Bishoujo version of Rogue and the Book 2 version of Korra. I’m using the term “new” in a very liberal way. I cobbled pieces from older versions of both costumes and freshened them up a bit.
I’m really looking forward to Rogue. My new pieces look way better than I expected them to turn out. Plus, I have a real photoshoot scheduled with Aperture Ashley! I’m very stoked. It’ll be great to have some real photos and not just cell phone shots.
Korra’s at about 90% completion right now. I’m having trouble with a few things. Mainly the wig. Fortunately, my hair is mostly back to brown (even if it is more auburn-ish), so we’ll see. If for some reason it doesn’t work out, I’ll wear my Marvel dress.
