Why this costume
Koholint Cosplay and I have this habit of dragging each other into various fandom hells. She nailed my cosplay type so hard with this one, and then surprised me by buying me season one. I started watching, got hooked, and now I’ll be making Code Geass stuff until the day I die.
how i made it
I used several of my tried-and-true patterns for this one: McCall’s 7373 (with heavy modifications) and Butterick 5895 being the main ones. The fabric pieces are a garbadine from Mood fabrics and the trim is ultrapreme with satin stitching. I custom dyed the wig with iDye Poly.
I initially wore this costume for a photoshoot in 2017 and revisited several pieces for Katsucon 2019. I’m still not 100% happy with it, so I may revisit it again in the future.
